This upcoming summer we are meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria, for the 99th time!We will be hosted by our member centre Toplocentrala - a central space for contemporary arts and a vital landmark in Sofia’s independent cultural scene.The world is spinning faster and it is becoming increasingly complex, who are we when everything around us begins to crumble? What do we do when it seems like everything is in decline?In a time when creativity is pushed aside and spaces for artists are disappearing, we’re gathering to explore new ways to support and sustain residencies in places where they have yet to take roots.Can funding schemes be created for those? How can we work together to develop them? beHOME explores how the creative industry can keep up with the pace of the globe without rushing.
